The Root Canal Procedure
The root canal procedure can often be accomplished in one visit.

The tooth is numbed with a local anesthetic

The nerve and connective tissue is located

The nerve and connective tissue are removed

The canal is completely disinfected

A thermoplastic filling material is placed

The tooth can then be prepared for a crown
